IPL 2023: MS Dhoni claims that it is the end of his Career

The current Indian Premier League season is reported to be MS Dhoni's final season as an elite sportsman.

On Friday, after Chennai Super Kings'  victory against Sunrisers Hyderabad,  the former India captain stated it was the last era of his journey.

Dhoni is widely regarded as one of the most successful and iconic cricketers in Indian history.

MS Dhoni, affectionately known as "Captain Cool," has had a remarkable career as a cricketer, particularly in limited-overs formats.

He has been the captain of the Indian national cricket team, leading them to numerous victories, including winning the 2007 ICC World Twenty20, the 2010 and 2016 Asia Cups, and the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup, which was a historic moment for Indian cricket.

Dhoni has also been a key player in the Indian Premier League (IPL), having captained the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) franchise since the tournament's inception in 2008, leading them to multiple championships.

If Dhoni has indeed announced that IPL 2023 will mark the end of his career, it would be a moment of reflection and gratitude for cricket fans around the world who have enjoyed watching him play over the years.

Dhoni's leadership, tactical acumen, and cool demeanor on the field have earned him a special place in the hearts of millions of cricket fans, and his retirement would certainly mark the end of an era in Indian cricket.
